We study the three pillars of sustainability – Equity, Environment, and Economics – and their interconnections. These elements are all needed to make the workplace “work” for everyone, including the planet, as well as organizational and individual effectiveness and well-being and health. Current projects include the psychology of access to organizational resources and opportunities (like negotiation), organizational level policies and work roles. Our recent focus in on how organizations can move to becoming environmentally engaged and work to mitigate climate changes. Projects use controlled experiments, field studies, and meta-analytic research and reviews to inform change.
